OVERVIEW

An Arabic-first platform that ran a Saudi university's first career fair end to end — public site, employer portal, and organizer control room. The client is under NDA, so the name is withheld and the screenshots are redacted.

THE PROBLEM

A university career fair has three audiences with completely different needs on the same four days: tens of thousands of students deciding when to attend, dozens of sponsoring companies who want qualified candidates in front of them, and a small organizing team that has to keep the whole thing coherent. Run on spreadsheets and group chats, that falls apart well before the doors open — nobody knows who actually registered, companies arrive with no candidate pipeline, and organizers have no live picture of their own event.

THE SOLUTION

Built the public site as the event's front door — patronage hero, live countdown, a four-day tabbed programme of advisory sessions and training workshops, an FAQ, and a tiered sponsor wall — Arabic-first and RTL throughout, designed for mobile before desktop.

Every sponsoring company got its own portal: post opportunities scoped by career track and type (co-op training, graduate training, employment), define the majors and requirements each one needs, then scan a student’s badge barcode with a phone camera at the booth to pull their full profile and save them to a private shortlist.

The organizer control room runs on the same data — live registration counts, per-day attendance breakdowns, company applications by approval status, sponsor tiers, workshop management, bulk messaging, and an audit log of every change. It is deployed on a self-managed VPS behind Cloudflare, with traffic analytics surfaced inside the dashboard so organizers could see reach without leaving the tool.
